At New Life Community Church, we believe ministry is about loving others like Jesus—wherever you are, whatever you do. While much of this happens naturally as we do life together as a church family, there are also specific ways you can serve. welcome and hospitality
Greeting:
Welcome attendees as they arrive and leave; assist newcomers and answer questions; be a friendly face that helps others feel at home

Set up, serve, and clean up coffee & snacks; help create a warm environment for guests; and/or bring treats/snacks

Worship and Tech
tech-audio:
Run sound board or computer during Sunday morning services. Training provided.
Worship team:
Lead our church family in worship through song on Sunday mornings.
Prayer and care
prayer team:
Lift our church family in prayer; support others through intercession
prayer team:
Meal ministry:
Support individuals and families walking through life events such as the birth of a new baby, the loss of a loved one, illness, surgery, or other challenges with a prepared meal.
card team:
Prepare and send birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion cards to NLCC community members.
community out reach
compassion in action:
Offers gently used/new clothing for all ages, as well as hygiene items, free of charge, to anyone in need.
stiches of love:
Help make handmade hats, mittens, scarves, and neck wraps to bless local nonprofit organizations and community members in need. No experience necessary; training provided.
toolbox:
Assist widows & widowers, single-parent families, and military families with simple maintenance and projects around their home
transportation team:
Offer reliable transportation for those without access.
kids and youth
new life kids:
Assist or teach nursery to grade school classes on Sunday mornings.
c.r.e.w. (youth):
Help lead youth group on Wednesday nights and special events
Support and behind-the-scenes
building and grounds:
Help maintain the church inside and out; work as part of a caring maintenance team.
safety team:
Assures a safe environment for NLCC members and visitors.
design team:
Create welcoming, seasonal spaces in the New Life Building.

Provide shepherding, overseeing, teaching, and equipping for NLCC leadership and the broader church community. Elders are nominated and elected by the church community.
