Over the next few days, I’m going to invite you into different passages throughout the Bible that talk about what scripture is and why it is important. Remember, looking at the greater
story of scripture, creation, fall, redemption on repeat in the pages of scripture and in your life.

Jeremiah 15:16- When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.

Jeremiah 23:29- “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

Ephesians 6:17- … the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12- 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
