Y.A.M. Milwaukee Mission Trip

Y.A.M. Milwaukee Mission Trip

Our Young Adult Ministry recently took a day mission trip to Milwaukee to serve at Adullam Outreach Center. One of our young adults, Olivia Bramstead, served with this ministry on mission throughout the summer and helped connect our Young Adult Ministry with the opportunity to come and serve as Adullam prepares for its grand opening.

Throughout the day, the group painted, decorated, and prepared rooms for the Family Warming Center. They also went together to donate sheets and comforters, providing pillows, sheets, and comforters for 20 beds. In addition, the group created a mural for one of the family rooms, decorated shared spaces, and sorted through hundreds of coats in preparation for an upcoming coat drive for those in need.
Here are a few photos from the day.
More about where they served:
Adullam Outreach Center is a ministry our youth group has also had the opportunity to serve with. At the heart of the campus is the Relief Center, which provides families with essential household items as they rebuild their lives. From furniture and mattresses to appliances and everyday necessities, the center ensures families have what they need - while offering care, compassion, and dignity to every person who walks through the doors.

The Family Warming Center, first opened in 2016 and reopened in 2025. This ministry addresses one of Milwaukee’s greatest needs: keeping families safe and together during dangerously cold weather. In the past, families often had to separate in order to find shelter. This center changes that by welcoming parents and children under one roof and providing warmth, showers, laundry, meals, and a sense of stability during the hardest nights of winter.
It is a blessing to see our youth and young adults serving in such meaningful ways and being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and beyond!
