Youth Winter Retreat Recap

C.R.E.W. - our youth ministry is truly walking out the meaning of its name: Christ Followers who are ready, equipped, and willing. We saw this lived out throughout our Winter Retreat at Silver Birch Ranch.

39 Youth (5th-12th grade) headed to Silver Birch Ranch for a winter retreat! This is the largest group that New Life has ever brought on a youth retreat! This is a HUGE praise - evidence of God moving in this generation and increasing faith in youth and developing Christ followers in numbers and strength!

Our students came ready - ready for fun, ready for community, and ready for whatever God had planned. Whether they were tubing, playing broom ball, ziplining, or hanging out in the canteen with snacks and games, this weekend created space for students to relax, connect, and be fully present with one another. 

Through worship and teaching, students were equipped with a clear reminder: “It’s Time.” Time to follow Jesus, spend intentional time with Him, and share their faith with others. These moments helped students grow in confidence and gave them practical encouragement for living out their faith at home. 

We saw students willing to jump in - willing to try new things, build friendships, and open their hearts. From packed gym time (lots of basketball) to meaningful conversations, students leaned into community and left with a desire to keep growing and walking with Jesus.
